ABOUT NAREDCO

Established in 1998 under the auspices of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, NAREDCO is the premier industry association for India's real estate sector. Its core mission is to provide a legitimate platform for the government, real estate industry, and the public to address concerns and develop effective solutions for the sector's challenges. With a robust membership exceeding 10,000 members nationwide and active State NAREDCO chapters, the organization plays a pivotal role in policy formulation. It represents the interests of its members by regularly engaging with various ministries, including the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Planning Commission of India, Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance, Income Tax Department, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Steel, and others. NAREDCO is deeply involved in policy advocacy across governmental bodies such as the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Ministry of Environment, Directorate of Service Tax, Central Board of Excise and Customs, Ministry of Civil Aviation, and the Office of the Prime Minister of India. This engagement underscores NAREDCO's commitment to shaping and advancing the real estate sector in India.
